HCH Theater Renovation Project

The HCH Theater renovation project will include crucial updates to the stage floor, balcony, sound and lighting systems, projector equipment, and curtains. These improvements will allow the theater to serve as a hub for community engagement, providing a welcoming space for theater groups, youth programs, cultural events, and more. Once completed, the theater will open its doors to diverse audiences, promoting creativity, collaboration, and community connection.

“After being closed for a period, Right Start UP is excited to reopen this breathtaking auditorium that seats over 700 people for community use. Our all-volunteer board is working diligently to revive this special place that holds so many memories for so many people in the area. We can’t wait to see how the community will make use of it,” said Christine Clark, Right Start UP Board Chair.

Giving Tuesday

Community members interested in supporting the renovation of the HCH Theater can donate directly to Right Start UP through Copper Shores’ Giving Tuesday page at Copper Shores Giving Tuesday (DONATE: coppershores.org/giving-tuesday). All contributions made between November 12th and December 3rd will be matched by Copper Shores, maximizing the impact of each donation.

With community support, Right Start UP aims to create a sustainable and vibrant venue for all ages and interests. The revitalized HCH Theater will be a gathering place for residents to enjoy local performances, educational programs, and cultural events.
